Kylian Mbappe just continues to amaze everyone in the football world. A player with so much to offer and a player that can turn any game on its head. From his insane pace to his unstoppable strikes he may just be the most fierce attacker for any defense. Once again he scored a big goal for PSG to give them the three points and to bring them closer towards the Ligue 1 title.
Mbappe comes big for PSG against Nantes
Mbappe’s goal in injury time had so much significance and so much importance. It did not only give PSG the three points but he also became the all time top scorer for Paris Saint Germain. Le Parisiens had to fight really hard for the three points in a match that they had to fight for. Nantes had gotten back into the game and it was proving to be quite frustrating for the French Champions. Even when Danilo Pereira scored they knew the win was not secured yet. Mbappe managed to finish off a pass from Pembele to secure the French side’s third consecutive win. To break a record for such a prestigious club like PSG is no understatement. Also to be able to do it at the age of 24 shows that he is a player at the peak of his powers right now in his career.
Mbappe has Bayern in his sight
Mbappe will now be turning his attention to the game on Wednesday against Bayern Munich. Kylian Mbappe scored two disallowed goals against the German Champions which denied them a victory. He will be ready to fire on all cylinders against them on Wednesday. In six games against Bayern Munich Mbappe has three. Mbappe is more than capable of exposing a weak defense. Especially the likes of Upamecano and De Ligt who can be shaky at times. If Bayern is not careful they could lose their lead as they are facing one of the most dangerous duos in Europe in Messi and Mbappe. Both Messi and Mbappe have scored a combined eight goals in the last three games. He is capable of turning any game on its head. He did in the World Cup final to bring France from 2-0 down to 2-2 up.
What next for the French superstar
Even if Mbappe does not help Les Parisiens qualify for the next round he is still such a talented player with so much to offer. He has a whole career ahead of him and a lot is promised from the Frenchman. Also the world of football will be speculating where he will be going next as they have been allegations that he could join Real Madrid next summer. He is currently under contract at PSG which expired in 2025. In his five seasons with PSG he has failed to win a single Champions League and may put that into consideration when choosing his next club. PSG is going to have to do a lot if they are to keep him, happy and that will most likely include winning the Champions League. They will have to turn away from club drama if they are to remain solid as a club.
