Messi stars in Inter Miami’s victory over Cruz Azul as the Florida team wins 2-1 in the League Cup. La Pulga came on as a substitute in the 54th minute and changed the course of the game. Messi made his debut for David Beckham’s side after signing earlier this week. Inter Miami were playing a Leagues Cup match and they needed a win to help boost their season. Messi will now face the daunting task of having to get Inter Miami out of 15th place and into the play-offs position. Inter Miami are currently 20 points from fourth position with. Messi will have 13 games to save Inter Miami and pull them out of the bottom.
