Barcelona secure comfortable 4-0 win against Dortmund after a dominant display against the German Giants. The Catalan Giants will take a sizeable lead to the signal igunda park and already have one foot in the semi finals. A brace from Robert Lewandowski as well as goals from Raphinha and Yamal were enough to see of the win as Barcelona cruised to a dominant win. The Blaugrana once again proved why they are the best team in Europe after demolishing yet another team this season. Dortmund will have to all to do in the second leg but they will surely need something special to turn around the deficit.
Blaugrana maintain unbeaten run
Barcelona continued their unbeaten run into 2025 with another stellar performance in the Champions League. Pedri once again proved to be at the heart of Barcelona’s midfield as he has been described as the engine of the team. Their chemistry and understanding of each other, the pass to make and knowing where to play the ball all proved to be key to Barcelona’s win. One of the highlights of the game will undoubtedly be Yamal’s dribbling and his ability to beat defenders then accelerate past them. Flick will also be impressed with how his team were able to create so many chances and how his team were able to break down the Dortmund defense.

Dortmund will surely not be pleased with how much they were dominated and taken out of shape. Barcelona were able to find space between their players which led them to being torn apart by their opposition. Overall it has not been the best season for Dortmund as they currently sit in 8th position in the Bundesliga. Dortmund will know that they are already out of the contest against Barcelona but will try to compete as best as possible in the 2nd leg. However Barcelona’s ability to keep the ball in the opposition half certainly does not help Dortmund’s chances of getting something from the 2nd leg.
