Cifuentes makes his mark
It was JCifuentes’s brace that guided Los Angeles FC past LA Galaxy in a tight match and it gave Los Angeles FC their fifth consecutive win in a row at home. Jose Cifuentes scored after after 17 minutes to give Los Angeles FC an early lead. Then 10 minutes into the second half Samuel Grandsir equalized for LA Galaxy to make it 1-1. 15 minutes after Cifuentes got the lead back for Los Angeles FC after Carlos Vela’s cross met him in the box.
Heated contest between the two L.A sides
This fixture was turning out to be an amazing contest between the two L.A sides and both teams were hungry to get something out of this match. Cristian Arango doubled the lead for Los Angeles FC two minutes after Jose Cifuentes was on a brace. Then with nine minutes left in the game Rayan Raveloson got a goal back for LA Galaxy to give them hope.

Los Angeles FC now have outscored every single team in MLS and will be eager to add to that as they continue their season. It was also a special night for Cifuentes because his fifth goal equaled his own personal record in the MLS and he will only look to improve.
